We are working with an Employer who is an innovative, multipurpose business with multi-faceted business interests across Ireland and UK. An award-winning organisation at national and international level, this business is well known, respected, and a strong successful brand in their market of operation. 3D Personnel are assisting this business in their search for the perfect candidate for the role of Maintenance Electrician.
This role represents an excellent opportunity for a candidate to work within one of Ireland's leading multi-disciplined Co-operatives. The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team reporting to the site Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Integrate as part of the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.
  2. Carry out all work keeping safety, quality, and output to the fore.
  3. Deliver with the other Maintenance team members a reliable centred maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance.
  4. Maintain accurate maintenance data and close out assigned work using the CMMS.
  5. Install new electrical circuits containment and take part in commissioning process.
  6. Repair and replace electrical equipment.
  7. Responsible for electrical inventory.
  8. Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation equipment and related devices.
  9. Periodic testing of electrical circuits.
  10. Participate in the onsite lean initiatives.
  11. Be available for callout in breakdown situations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. National craft cert;
  2. Mechanical knowledge and experience in working with pneumatics and hydraulics;
  3. Knowledge of PLC controls is an advantage;
  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  5. Previous experience within a high-volume food manufacturing environment an advantage;
  6. Experience using a CMMS;
  7. Knowledge of repair and fault finding;
  8. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Hours of Work:
A minimum of 39 hours per week over five days. Normal hours of work will generally range between 9:00am to 5:00pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm rotating Monday to Friday. The company reserves the right to change these working hours, and you will receive as much notice as is reasonably possible prior to any change. In addition, you may be required to undertake additional work as and when it may be necessary. Weekend work and availability for call out will be required when necessary to cover the needs of the business. Participation in the out of hours call out service is required. Call out allowance and associated costs will be payable to you.

Remuneration:
Rate of pay will be €25.00 per hour payable weekly in arrears.
Call out allowance €24 per day.
Call out rates minimum:
Calls from finish working hours to midnight 2.5 & half, from midnight to 8am time. Per Call. If over 2.5 hours on site time will be added.
Saturday/Sunday & half.
