Maintenance Electrician

Job Title: Electrician

Pay: £24 an hour

Type: Temp to Perm

Schedule: Monday-Friday 07:30-17:00

Location: Middlesbrough

Main Duties include:

1. Install, maintain, and repair street lighting, including wiring, fixtures, and feeder pillars.
2. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in street lighting.
3. AM2 qualification, as well as 2391, since the person who fills this role will need to be our NICEIC Supervisor.
4. Schedule inspections and test and inspect to BS7671.
5. Operate mobile elevated work platforms to access lighting equipment at heights.
6. Respond to emergency lighting issues, restoring service promptly to minimize disruption.
7. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including materials used.
8. Test and inspect electrical systems in compliance with BS 7671 and perform tasks like SWA jointing and installing cutouts.
9. Participate in emergency call-out rota.

1. 18th Edition / NVQ L3
