Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Hours: Static position, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with potential for flexible hours)

About the Role
Join one of the leading facilities management companies, working on a great contract in Manchester. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician to support the upkeep and smooth operation of our site. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy providing exceptional service, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks, including fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, flushing little-used outlets, and emergency lighting tests.
  2. Respond to reactive maintenance and repairs as needed.
  3. Carry out minor building fabric repairs, decorating tasks, plumbing tasks, and general office maintenance.
  4. Assist with ad hoc portage duties, such as moves and changes, furniture management, and relocation tasks.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  6. Deliver excellent customer service to building occupants, keeping them informed of work progress.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
  2. 18th Edition qualification.
  3. Experience in building maintenance, handyperson, or janitorial roles.
  4. A willingness to undertake further training.
  5. Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  6. Flexibility with work and hours (in compliance with EU Working Time Directive).
  7. Professional presentation and adherence to company uniform and PPE requirements.
