Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician completing PPM and reactive maintenance on large scale commercial facilities in the Leeds area. The role is a Permanent position paying circa £42-43k basic. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, days 07:30 - 16:00.

No on-call. Overtime available.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Completing electrical maintenance across the estate.
2. To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
3. To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, and building services plant room electrical systems.
4. To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
5. To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service.
6. To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines.
7. You will be expected to have good all-round knowledge of other FM disciplines and general maintenance.
8. Basic mechanical and fabric tasks where required.
9. Compliance checks.
10. Small works projects.
11. Some supervision of sub-contractors including permits issue etc.

Skills & Background Required

1. Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3.
2. Willing to complete general building services and plant maintenance.
3. 18th edition.
4. Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
5. Must be presentable and reliable.
