Maintenance Electrician - Facilities Management | Elgin
FM Search & Select Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities management company, providing maintenance services across commercial buildings in and around the Moray area. This role is ideal for a skilled Electrician with expertise in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and compliance testing.
Package:
- £40,000 - £43,500
- Company vehicle & fuel card
- On-call allowance
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within commercial properties.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform testing, inspections, and compliance checks, including emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
- Assist with minor mechanical and fabric maintenance when required.
- Work closely with other FM engineers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and liaise with clients as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
- Experience in commercial maintenance or a similar role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
