Maintenance Electrician
Coventry
£20 - £26 per hour - ongoing temporary contract possible temp to perm

Ongoing temporary position for a maintenance electrician to work at a static site in Coventry. The role will involve pre-planned and reactive maintenance and minor installation work. This position is to work on an ongoing basis as part of a small team, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Hourly pay is £20 per hour PAYE or £26 per hour umbrella.

Main duties will include (but are not limited to):

1. Maintenance and installation of mains, distribution wiring, and distribution boards, sockets, switchgear, 3 phase systems, lighting, emergency lighting, and all building services electrical plant.
2. Liaison with other engineers on site.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
4. Small works electrical tasks.
5. Facilities maintenance as part of an on-site facilities team.

Requirements:

1. Must be a fully qualified electrician with 18th edition.
2. Experience of carrying out commercial maintenance and small installation works.
3. Live within reasonable commuting distance of the site in Coventry.

On offer: An ongoing temporary position, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with the potential for a permanent role at the end of the contract.
