Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician - Bradford
Location: Bradford, BD4
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: £40,000 + Overtime (1.5x / 2x)
Holiday: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

A great opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a secure and growing contract in Bradford. This role is part of a newly mobilised site, with strong long-term potential and future scope for progression into a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a variety of electrical systems
2. Responding to reactive maintenance and fault-finding issues
3. Working with low voltage systems, RCDs, lighting circuits, fire alarms, and general power distribution
4. Performing electrical testing and inspections, identifying and resolving faults
5. Minor installation work, including lighting, sockets, and small power systems
6. Assisting with site services, including basic plumbing and general fabric maintenance where required
7. Acting as a client-facing representative of the engineering team, managing daily communication
8. Supervising subcontractors on site and ensuring safe, compliant working practices
9. Opportunity to undertake additional training including HVAP and further qualifications

Requirements:

1. Recognised electrical qualification - 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred
2. Proven experience in a building maintenance or facilities environment
3. Strong communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role
4. Interest in career progression towards a lead or supervisory role
