Job description

Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £48,000

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays (6am-12pm)

On-call rota required (including nights) Overtime 1.5 rate

About the Role

This well-established business is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support its operations. This role involves maintaining and repairing production and intake systems, ensuring minimal downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This company has a number of sites across the UK and has a number of ongoing projects, which is more than enough to get your teeth stuck into!

If you're mechanically biased, with an electrical understanding, this role could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operations
  2. Respond promptly to breakdowns and interruptions
  3. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and safety
  4. Maintain accurate maintenance records for compliance and safety

Requirements:

  1. Qualification/apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical fields
  2. Understanding of Safe Isolation procedures
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
