Location: Heathrow Airport, London
Salary: GBP23.00 per hour (CIS)
Hours: Monday to Friday 20:00 until 04:00

About the Role:
Are you a skilled carpenter looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment? We are hiring a Maintenance Carpenter to join our client s dedicated team at Heathrow Airport. This role is crucial to maintaining the operational excellence and safety standards of one of the world s busiest airports.

As a Maintenance Carpenter, you will handle a variety of tasks, from repairing structural elements to ensuring the aesthetic quality of airport facilities. Your work will directly contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for passengers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and installations of woodwork, doors, flooring, partitions, and other structural elements.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve carpentry-related maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Work from technical drawings and specifications to complete tasks with precision.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter in a maintenance or construction setting.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in a high-traffic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
