Location: High Wycombe

Salary Type: £23,797 per annum

Salary details: (£12.33 per hour)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Responsibilities

Undertake general maintenance tasks, including:

  • Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, general repairs and porterage tasks
  • Learning to identify and resolve common property maintenance issues under supervision
  • Assisting in scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of property systems
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Assisting with School sustainability projects
  • Monitoring standards of estate and facilities and reporting outcomes to the Estates & Facilities Manager
  • Undertaking grounds maintenance under the direction of the Estates Manager

Essential Requirements:

  • An interest in property maintenance
  • A desire to work hard and the ability to use own initiative
  • Punctual, hardworking, and committed
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and learn on the job
  • Ability to use computers for recording tasks and completing College and apprenticeship training
  • Understanding and respect for confidentiality
  • Able to interact with students and adults
  • Physically fit and able to lift, carry, climb
  • Happy to ask for help
