About the Role:

As a Bespoke Tool Engineering Specialist, you will maintain and enhance Airbus production jigs and fixtures, ensuring seamless operation and contributing to our aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Tool Engineering:
  • Innovate and Improve: Assess, improve, and set up assembly tooling.
  • Hands-On Repairs: Evaluate and repair damaged tooling.
  • Maintenance Mastery: Implement periodic maintenance and inspection schedules.
  • Problem Solver: Address bespoke tooling issues.
Automation:
  • Optimize Programs: Maintain and optimize bespoke NC Programs for 5 Axis CNC drilling machines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance manufacturing, simulation, and testing processes.
  • Collaborative Testing: Develop, test, and integrate NC Programs with production teams.
Industrial Maintenance:
  • Complex Diagnostics: Support diagnostics of integrated industrial systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide diagnostic feedback and create technical specifications.
  • Proactive Participation: Engage in maintenance meetings and support equipment obsolescence analysis.

  • Advanced Metrology: Experience with dimensional metrology systems.
  • Hydraulic & Electric Systems: Knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems.
  • Subcontracting Management: Experience in managing subcontractors.
  • PLC Diagnostics: Proficiency in PLC diagnostics.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Background in mechanical engineering and 3D printing.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Robotics & Automation: Awareness of robotics and automation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Automation & Maintenance Experience: Ideal for candidates with a background in automation and maintenance.
  • Jigs and Fixtures Expertise: Experience with jigs and fixtures is essential.
  • NC Program Expertise: NC programming experience is crucial for this role.
