About the Role:

As a Bespoke Tool Engineering Specialist, you will maintain and enhance Airbus production jigs and fixtures, ensuring seamless operation and contributing to our aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tool Engineering:
   
   1. Innovate and Improve: Assess, improve, and set up assembly tooling.
   2. Hands-On Repairs: Evaluate and repair damaged tooling.
   3. Maintenance Mastery: Implement periodic maintenance and inspection schedules.
   4. Problem Solver: Address bespoke tooling issues.
2. Automation:
   
   1. Optimize Programs: Maintain and optimize bespoke NC Programs for 5 Axis CNC drilling machines.
   2. Continuous Improvement: Enhance manufacturing, simulation, and testing processes.
   3. Collaborative Testing: Develop, test, and integrate NC Programs with production teams.
3. Industrial Maintenance:
   
   1. Complex Diagnostics: Support diagnostics of integrated industrial systems.
   2. Technical Support: Provide diagnostic feedback and create technical specifications.
   3. Proactive Participation: Engage in maintenance meetings and support equipment obsolescence analysis.

Desirable Skills:

1. Advanced Metrology: Experience with dimensional metrology systems.
2. Hydraulic & Electric Systems: Knowledge of hydraulic and electric systems.
3. Subcontracting Management: Experience in managing subcontractors.
4. PLC Diagnostics: Proficiency in PLC diagnostics.
5. Mechanical Engineering: Background in mechanical engineering and 3D printing.
6. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
7. Robotics & Automation: Awareness of robotics and automation.

Additional Requirements:

1. Automation & Maintenance Experience: Ideal for candidates with a background in automation and maintenance.
2. Jigs and Fixtures Expertise: Experience with jigs and fixtures is essential.
3. NC Program Expertise: NC programming experience is crucial for this role.
