MAG Welder

Salary: £18.19 per hour (41'618k per annum)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Lostock, Bolton.

Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, and they have recently won a large amount of work, so are looking to extend their workforce.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for welders with experience in heavy engineering who can:

1. weld using FCMAW in all positions,
2. MAG weld in all positions,
3. air arc gouge.

Sub arc welding is advantageous but not necessary.

Shifts:
* Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 6.45am-5pm and Friday - 6.45am-11.45am

Overtime rates available.

Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test, which will include:

1. 1x vertical 10fw with FCMAW,
2. 1x down hand butt weld with MAG,
3. 1x 10fw with MAG.

Please note: This position is subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test.
