Job description

We have some exciting opportunities starting September 2025 for 2 Machinist Apprentices within our Manufacturing Team. Working from our state-of-the-art campus in Milton Keynes, you will be immersed into the heart of our manufacturing facility and includes some of the industry’s most impressive technology, supporting the manufacturing of critical powertrain components.

As part of our open-minded, dynamic & inclusive environment, you’ll be learning and developing essential skills while working alongside industry-leading professionals. You will receive hands-on training in precision machining, cutting-edge technology, and manufacturing processes, while contributing to the creation of high-performance components that drive the success of Red Bull Racing. Not only will you gain specialist skills but also a Level 3 qualification all whilst making a valuable contribution to our success.

Please note you will need to be able to travel 1 day per week to Milton Keynes College for qualification training.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Learning to operate and maintain a variety of CNC, specialist and manual machines
  2. Gaining practical experience in machining processes such as turning, milling, grinding, and drilling
  3. Working alongside skilled engineers to produce high-precision components for Formula 1 Power Units
  4. Following strict quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship
  5. Collaborating with a team of experts and gaining exposure to advanced manufacturing techniques used in motorsport

To be considered you will need:

  1. 5 GCSE's grade 9 – 4 (A*- C) including Maths, English and Science
  2. A passion for winning, with a good working ethic and willingness to learn
  3. Team spirit, creativity, sense of responsibility
  4. Ability to work independently and reliably
  5. Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency
  6. Able to travel daily to our Milton Keynes Campus
