Job Description

A great opportunity to work for a leading FMCG manufacturer as a Machine Operator / Production Operative on a modern, automated, and clean site in Tewkesbury. Excellent progression and development opportunities with dedicated on-the-job support.

PAY: from £11.57-£12.60 per hour
HOURS: 37.5 per week 5 days over 7. Shift work - flexibility required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
  2. Running machinery/equipment to meet targets
  3. Quality checking the product
  4. Collecting data from the line and recording it accurately
  5. Ensuring the production area meets strict hygiene standards
  6. Packaging the product
  7. Conducting and adhering to cleaning and allergen control regimes
  8. Adhering to all policies and procedures relating to product and quality.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience in a Manufacturing/Production role, preferably within the food industry; however, training will be given.

  1. Good numeracy and literacy skills
  2. A committed team worker with a strong sense of responsibility and good attention to detail.
  3. IT Skills - Must be competent in the use of basic software.
