Duration: 03 months (potential for converting to a FTE based on business need, budget approval and performance)

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)

PAY RATE: $20.35/hour

Manager’s feedback:

  • This entry level position is basically packing boxes and palletizing product.

Required Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks.
  • Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required.
  • Support material handling as necessary.
  • Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers.
  • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules.
  • Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above.
  • Accept full accountability for product quality.
  • Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation.
  • Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
  • He or she must also exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production.

Other Information:

  • Candidate must be able to stand to package and label product.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line.
  • Support material handling as necessary. Does not require use of forklift or power jack.
  • Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
  • Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots.
  • Must be able to adhere to shift start times and with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Prior manufacturing experience not required. Training will be provided.
