Machine Operator - CNC EDM

Are you a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience of working on metal components? Are you open to learning new skills? Would you like to work for a growing family-owned business that offers training and development opportunities?

Our client is a leading component manufacturer that works with a wide range of metal materials and produces parts for the Aerospace industry. They are seeking a new EDM Machine Operator to join their growing team.

Location: Nuneaton - CV13
Type: Permanent
Salary: £33,500 - £38,000 per annum (based on experience)
Benefits: 33 days holiday, Pension, Free Eye Test, Training

The Role of EDM Machine Operator:

1. Being trained on a CNC EDM machine
2. Producing metal components
3. Working from drawings
4. Working to tight tolerances
5. Quality checking parts using various hand tools
6. Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing
7. Working independently and as part of a team

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

1. 6 months experience operating CNC machines, such as EDM, Turning, Lathe, Milling, Boring or Grinding
2. Able to quality check own parts
3. Ability to work from engineering drawings
4. Keen to learn new skills and develop
5. Motivated and excellent team player
6. Able to commute to the CV13 area
