Machine Operator

Our client based in Oldbury, is looking to recruit a Machine operator to join their established team.

The role will involve working 7am until 3:30pm Monday Thursday. Then 7am until 2:30pm on a Friday.

Your duties will include.

• Operating machinery to cut and bend various lengths of metals.
• Manual handling of cut and uncut metals individual lengths weighing up to 20kg.
• Working in a team to maximize productivity.
• Assisting in other areas of the factory as and when required.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures.

Experience required -

• Must have worked in a busy warehouse/ factory environment previously.
• Must have experience working safely and productively.
• Must have a good understanding of Maths.
• Must have a practical understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Previous experience of working in metalworks desirable.

Confident and outgoing, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

The role is physically demanding and requires the successful candidate to be standing for the whole shift, whilst handling/ cutting/ bending lengths of metals.
