Job Title: Folding Glue Machine Operative

Schedule: Sunday Night - Thursday Morning, 8pm - 6am

Hours: 38 PW

Wage: Dependant upon experience

Job Summary:

Multitask Recruitment Solutions are seeking a reliable and skilled Folding Glue Machine Operative to join our production team. Training is provided for this role as long as you have up to 2 years machine operating experience. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining folding and gluing machines used in the finishing process of printed materials, such as cards. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up, operate, and monitor folding and gluing machinery according to job specifications and company standards.
2. Perform routine checks and quality control to ensure products meet required tolerances and specifications.
3. Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime.
4. Load materials and monitor the feeding process to ensure consistent production flow.
5. Detect and report any faults, malfunctions, or quality issues promptly.
6. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
7. Maintain accurate production records and complete job sheets as required.
8. Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
9. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Previous experience operating folding and gluing machines is highly desirable.
2. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
3. Ability to read and interpret production instructions and technical drawings.
4. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
5. Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and handling materials.
6. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if required.
