Machine Operator:

Machine Operator | Leicester | Salary £37,000 | Monday – Friday
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market-leading Packaging company. They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their close-knit and thriving team.

Working 6pm – 6am Monday to Friday.
Shift allowance included.

Responsibilities:

1. Operating production and manufacturing machinery.
2. Packing materials into boxes at the end of the line.
3. Feeding materials into the machines.
4. Diagnosing faults with machinery.
5. Servicing and emergency repairs.
6. Following maintenance schedules and carrying out routine servicing of machinery.
7. Ensuring product is produced at a high quality by completing line checks.
8. Working to job cards ensuring specifications and instructions are followed.
9. Completing any relevant documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Experience in machining would be an advantage.
2. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment operating a manufacturing machine and supporting packing of materials.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Willingness to learn and work to procedures.
