Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to become Machine Operators within our client's Cumbernauld-based manufacturing facility.


What's on offer?



  • £12 to £13 per hour - paid weekly

  • Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm

  • Full-time temporary on-going opportunity


Working as a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:



  • Operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations. Also to do any reasonable tasks required for the upkeep of the site

  • Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines

  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify any faults or defects

  • Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to machinery as required

  • Ensure that machinery is kept clean and well-maintained

  • Calling out major issues with machinery so it can be fixed

  • Recording checks done on machinery with tick sheet


To be successful, you will ideally have previous experience working in a similar role; and previous experience of working with hand-held tools and drilling. Combined with excellent organisation and communication skills; and a good level of physical fitness
