Job description

Machine Operator

Location: Littleport, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 14:00-00:00 Monday-Thursday & 06:00-14:00 Monday-Friday

Hourly Rate / Salary: £12.21 per hour + holiday pay with salary increases based on skill level

Duration: Temporary to Permanent.

A Machine Operative position is available for a well-established company in Littleport. Previous manufacturing experience is desirable for the position, but not essential as full training will be offered for the right person. You must have a can-do attitude, be comfortable working with tools, and be physically fit.

If successful on pre-screening, you may be asked to work on a paid 2-hour trial period.

Job Duties:

  • Accurately measuring powders
  • Setting and operating machinery
  • Quality checking finished products
  • Assembling items using hand and power tools
  • Keeping the factory clean and tidy
  • Working towards company targets
