We are seeking a skilled Bandsaw Operator to join a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves cutting metal and other materials to precise specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in bandsaw operation and a keen eye for detail to excel in their craft.

This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in operating bandsaw machinery, a strong understanding of metalworking techniques, and the ability to work with precision. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of following technical instructions while maintaining a safe and organised workspace.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate bandsaw machinery to cut materials accurately to specified measurements.
2. Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
3. Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
4. Read and interpret technical drawings to execute precise cuts.
5. Adhere to health and safety protocols, including wearing protective gear.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this role offers comprehensive on-the-job training. Working hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, and Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm. Overtime is available, with a starting hourly rate of £12.50.
