They are on the verge of launching their revolutionary AI product that empowers software engineering teams to enhance their productivity in large corporations. With an impressive portfolio of clients from large banks and tech firms, they are set to move to series A round in H1 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer who enjoys both conceptual innovation and meticulous optimisation.

What you'll do:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be instrumental in creating synthetic datasets and training models. Your role will involve conducting experiments to assess the quality of synthetic data and using this data to train cutting-edge models. You will also drive additional research initiatives focused on enhancing data quality. Your expertise will be crucial in instruction tuning, preference alignment, and model optimisation.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Machine Learning Engineer role brings along 3+ years of practical experience in the field. You have led and executed ambitious machine learning projects from inception to completion. Your knowledge spans across Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, and related tooling such as PyTorch. Experience with synthetic data would be advantageous. You possess strong Python skills and have experience setting up GPU-based training environments.

• 3+ years of practical Machine Learning experience
• Ability to lead and execute ambitious machine learning projects from start to finish
• Well-versed in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Large Language Models
• Proficiency in related tooling (e.g., PyTorch)
• Prior exposure to synthetic data is a plus
• Strong skills in Python
• Experience in setting up GPU-based training environments (e.g., Lambda, Runpod, Sagemaker)
