ReaderAir is a building services company providing mechanical and electrical technical maintenance services in the commercial property facilities management sector and specialist provider for the Design, Installation, Maintenance and Repair of Air Conditioning, Fresh Air ventilation and Refrigeration systems that operate within commercial and industrial buildings.

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated maintenance contracts manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical experience in providing MEP maintenance services to commercial property and excellent communication skills to both the internal engineering team and external clients. The Contracts Manager will operate from our Surrey based office and at contracted sites, being responsible for delivering planned maintenance contracts for London & The South East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning Maintenance activities: Planning maintenance works with engineers and subcontractors to ensure safe access and health and safety requirements are met.
  • Maintenance Contract Delivery: Managing / Organising Engineers on a weekly basis for planned and reactive works including parts ordering.
  • Communication: Responding in a timely fashion to clients requests via e-mail, phone and site meetings to ensure all stakeholders are as fully informed as possible.
  • Maintenance Reporting & Quoting: Producing quarterly planned and reactive maintenance reports for contracted sites after reviewing engineer and subcontractor job reports and quoting for reactive small repair works.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical qualifications from working in any area of mechanical or electrical building services. H&S qualifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a building services professional role is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant CAFM and job software.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent client facing skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team of engineers.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
