Job Role:
To produce design and detailed drawings ensuring projects provide well-engineered cost-effective solutions working closely with all stakeholders to devise technically astute and commercially viable applications for products.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Produce detailed Electrical and Mechanical designs, including schematics, LV distribution, lighting, small power & data, fire alarm, security layouts.
2. Support the Design/Engineering team to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
3. Undertake calculations in accordance with the latest British Standards.
4. Make steps to minimise expenses and non-chargeable costs.
5. Attend design team meetings, internally and externally with clients.
6. Communicate design solutions to internal stakeholders and external customers.
7. Participate in effective presentations to external organisations, clients and peer groups.
8. Manage task duration to ensure deadlines are met.
9. Assist the lead engineers in collating and disseminating project information through the project team.
10. Use software such as AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux, Microsoft Office and Revit (not critical).
11. Ensure the design fully aligns with the employers' requirements, British Standards, and applicable regulations.
