Job Description

  • Negotiate and procure contracts in accordance with the organisation's procurement strategy, ensuring value for money is achieved.
  • Monitor budget expenditures, identifying any variances that could affect forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure planned maintenance is scheduled correctly and executed in compliance with regulatory standards and contract agreements.
  • Assist in evaluating, developing, and leading projects to implement and approve appropriate remedial actions and solutions.
  • Support the delivery of service level agreements and key performance indicators, ensuring all targets are met.
  • Ensure buildings are fully compliant with mechanical and electrical regulations, as well as health and safety standards.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide exceptional customer satisfaction by effectively managing contractor and supplier relationships to meet service requirements.
  • Ensure security and CCTV installations comply with GDPR standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical or electrical field
  • Experience in building management compliance
  • Supervisory/managerial experience of sub contractors
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of legal requirements of mechanical or electrical health and safety
