M&E Buyer

M&E Buyer required for a leading M&E Contractor based in Essex who deliver large M&E projects on high-end residential developments throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an M&E Buyer to join the procurement team. Training and development will also be offered depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials and equipment
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
• Check stock of items
• Maintain call-off schedules, keeping them up to date and correct
• Negotiate prices
• Manage plant hire schedules, keeping track of all plant
• Raise purchase orders
• Utilize strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and equipment
• Exhibit excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Keep track of spreadsheets
