Flexible Exam Invigilator Roles in Hackney

Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule?

Schools in Hackney are preparing for the GCSE and A-level exam season and need support from the local community. Exams will take place from May to June.

This role is ideal for college and university students seeking extra income, parents or carers returning to work, and retirees looking for a few hours of work each week.

Role and Hours

Invigilation sessions are available in the mornings and afternoons, offering the flexibility of half-day or full-day shifts. Typical hours are:

• Morning: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Afternoon: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• Full day: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Start and finish times may vary.

Responsibilities

As an Exam Invigilator, you will:

• Ensure the security of exam papers and conduct exams in line with regulations.
• Assist students with seating arrangements and provide essential instructions.
• Ensure students have the necessary materials.
• Support students who require assistance with reading or writing.

Full training will be provided.

Pay and Requirements

• Pay: 46 for a half-day, 83 for a full day.
• Requirements:
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to exam regulations.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment (where possible).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
