London

GBP 30,000 - 50,000
Job description

Dear Reader,

We are looking to hire a wholesale manager/brand ambassador. The successful candidate will work closely with other wholesale managers and the head of the coffee and marketing department to keep Dark Arts’ wholesale and community efforts exciting and innovative.

The perfect candidate for this role will be a serious coffee professional with several years of experience, someone who is not afraid to be on camera and is capable of designing, running, and organizing their own community-focused events and activations. Can you brew coffee well? Do you have cupping experience? Are you prepared to become a character in the Dark Arts cinematic universe?

We are looking for someone who can create rapport with new people easily, who finds it easy to make new friends, and who can maintain and keep track of multiple conversations simultaneously.

Organization is paramount.

The right candidate will be confident enough to conduct on and off-site training sessions for our wholesale customers. Previous experience in barista training is not necessary but highly desirable.

The role is based in Hackney; however, we are opening this position to remote workers. The job will require travel all over the UK and Europe. A UK driver’s license is not necessary but is highly desirable.

Core responsibilities:

  • Understand and maintain the brand vision as a fundamental underpinning of your work.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with our existing customers within your region.
  • Build community within your region.
  • Represent Dark Arts at coffee events, cuppings, competitions, parties, etc.
  • Engage in QC cupping internally and provide meaningful input on the coffee offerings.
  • Provide training to wholesale customers within your region.
  • Solve equipment and brewing problems with your wholesale customers.
  • Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge.
  • Keep your barista skills sharp; you never know when you’ll need to brew a coffee for a customer.

Please don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t think you tick all of these boxes. We are looking for the right person, and that person has no race, gender, color, or creed. We want to see and welcome applications from all genders and minority backgrounds.

We will do our best to respond to all applicants but cannot guarantee a timely response.

Sincerely, Dark Arts Coffee
