Logistics & Warehouse Process Improvement Specialist (Automotive)
Location: Wolverhampton area
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, Days.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

ISQ Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an automotive logistics client based near Wolverhampton, who seeks a skilled Logistics & Warehouse Process Improvement Specialist.

This role will see you leading improvements and optimisation in logistics, warehouse planning, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver end-to-end logistics and warehouse improvement projects from planning to successful implementation.
2. Use MTM calculations to identify operational inefficiencies, recommending and implementing improvements.
3. Apply Lean/VPS methodologies, coaching operational teams and embedding best practices.
4. Analyse operational data and implement solutions to optimise resource allocation, cost-efficiency, and workflow.
5. Maintain accurate documentation and warehouse layouts using SAP/WMS systems effectively.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline logistical processes.

Essential Experience:

1. Demonstrable experience in logistics planning, warehouse optimisation, and process improvement.
2. Proficiency in MTM calculations and data-driven analytical methods.
3. Practical knowledge and experience with SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
4. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Excellent communication skills, organisational capability, and the ability to independently manage projects.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. SOL Certification advantageous.
2. Experience implementing Lean/VPS methodologies.
