Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a logistics background; experience in photocopiers/office equipment is an advantage.

As a Technician at Copy IT Technical LTD, you will play an integral role in representing our business and our customers, delivering to the end user. We expect the highest standards to be maintained and excelled throughout the working day. Below are the key roles and responsibilities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Safely transporting:
    1. Ensuring company processes and procedures are followed during the loading and unloading of equipment, safely and securely.
    2. Strapping is securely anchored with protection on each corner of the equipment, minimizing any transport damage.
    3. Verifying delivery contents against manifests or invoices to ensure accuracy.
  2. Customer Service:
    1. Upholding company values and maintaining a positive company image through interactions with customers.
    2. Continuously seeking ways to improve service delivery and exceed customer expectations.
    3. Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company protocols.
    4. Proactive interactions with customers throughout the day.
  3. Day to Day:
    1. Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working condition, including brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
    2. Adhering to safe driving practices, such as obeying speed limits, using indicators, and always maintaining a safe distance.
    3. Supporting Team leaders with procedures and protocols with current and future implementations.
    4. Being aware of and following health and safety regulations set out in our company policies, for example, using stair walkers where applicable or using carry straps to avoid strains or injury.
    5. Following start of day and end of day routines set out by management.
    6. Promoting a positive work environment and leading by example.
    7. Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.
    8. Supporting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery efficiency, such as delivery time frames and fuel, adjusting as needed to optimize performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £26,800.00 per year

Experience:

  • Luton van: 1 year (required)
  • Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
