About The Role
Wilson James are looking for a Logistics Support Manager (LSM) who will be integral to the delivery of the Heathrow Development Programme.
Main responsibilities:
Carrying out audits for site start ups, duration and close down processes for the safe space management and logistics processes
Responsible for implementation of Logistics Strategy
Responsible for mobilisation, implementation and delivery of logistics plans
Assess and revise logistic plans produced by Principal Contractors
Act as key linkage between Delivery Partners, Airport Operational Departments and Logistics Delivery whilst ensuring adherence to governance at all levels
Act as a focal point for Principal Contractors for delivery needs and feedback
Create and share Heathrow standards for Logistics and understand those owned by Principal Contractors
Engage with Health and Safety and Industrial Relations to ensure safe and appropriate logistics solutions
Inform strategic planning of issues and challenges associated with tactical delivery
Inform and input into Employers Requirements for Logistics
About You
Worked on capital construction projects, either interfacing with or managing logistics
Experience of integration and partnership working within the construction logistics and aviation sector, developing, nurturing, and managing stakeholder relationships to develop new and innovative opportunities
Driving Licence cat B
A background of Heathrow Operations would be beneficial
Project Management experience - a qualification in PRINCE2 or APM is desirable
IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) safety certification
Able to work 5 days a week - 8.30am to 5pm
