Logistics Specialist

Location: Central London / hybrid

Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 depending on experience

Our client, a dynamic and growing tech company, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee and coordinate the movement of their products from Asia into Europe and North America. This is a pivotal role in ensuring seamless, efficient, and timely deliveries to their global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end coordination of international logistics operations, ensuring products are transported from Asia to Europe and North America, whilst maintaining efficient route plans to optimise logistics operations.
2. Prepare shipping documents and monitor deadlines.
3. Liaise with freight forwarders and customs agents to track and monitor shipments, resolving any logistical issues.
4. Regularly report on logistics progress and escalate any critical issues to senior leadership, ensuring transparency in logistics operations and timely issue resolution.
5. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, and customer support) to ensure smooth communication and aid timely product delivery.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Skills/Experience:

1. Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with expertise in international freight forwarding.
2. Strong attention to detail in handling documentation and shipment tracking to ensure high accuracy and quality.
3. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
4. Working knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
