Logistics Site Manager (Freelance)

We're looking for a Freelance Construction Logistics Site Manager for a 12 week car park project in Preston. If you can juggle labour, deliveries, and materials without breaking a sweat, our client wants you on their team. Experience with concrete and steel frame projects or car parks is desirable, as well as experience on large projects valued at 10m +.

Responsibilities:

1. Labour Management:

   • Oversee the on-site workforce.
   • Assign tasks and ensure everyone follows safety standards.
   • Ensure pathways and walkways are clear.

2. Deliveries:

   • Schedule and manage deliveries.
   • Check delivery quantities and quality.
   • Handle any supplier issues.

Qualifications:

• SMSTS or Equivalent (SSSTS may be considered).
• Proven experience in construction logistics, preferably with concrete and steel frame projects or car parks.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines without losing your cool.
• Valid driver's license; forklift skills are a bonus.
