Job Description: Logistics Operative

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge/experience in routine warehouse operations, reporting to the Logistics Manager. The main areas of operations will be conducted within the company's Logistics Centre located in Rayleigh, Essex.

The successful applicant’s duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately pick stock items.
• Control of all stock parts.
• Responsible for goods in and goods out.
• Ensure compliance with the quality manual with batch control and traceability.
• Carry out stock checks.
• Arrange the movements of stock parts to the workshop and update the system accordingly.
• Accurately package orders for safe delivery to the customer.

Applicant Specification

• Knowledge of material handling and packaging.
• Enthusiastic and able to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.
• Must have a good work ethic with good attention to detail.
• Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred but not essential, as we may consider candidates from other industries with similar skills with the purpose to cross-train into the aviation industry.

Job Information

• Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 Mon – Fri (40 hours per week).
• Salary: £12.80 - £13.00 per hour dependent on previous skills, experience, and qualifications.
• 28 days PA Holiday (Includes bank holidays).
