Their current Logistics Manager retires in the summer, so they’re looking for you to step in, steady the ship & lead with confidence from day one.

As Logistics Manager you’ll be responsible for:

• 14 warehouse staff
• 2 team leaders

But more than that you’ll be the one ensuring everything gets where it needs to go, on time, in full, to the right quality standards, without fuss.

This is a business built on speed, trust & consistency; their customers don’t hold stock anymore—times have changed, every order is urgent.

Delivery is outsourced, but maintaining the high standards that the customers expect—that’s on you.
You’ll manage stock flow, subcontractor performance, internal communication with supply chain and sales, and you’ll keep one eye on the data to make sure everything’s working as it should.

You as Logistics Manager will need:

• Proven experience in same-day or rapid delivery logistics.
• Strong people leadership skills.
• A hands-on approach; you’re present, visible and responsive.
• The confidence to make decisions and lead through change.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (AX) would be a bonus, as would ISO9001, ISO45001 or Six Sigma experience, but as we know, most of these ERP systems are very much the same.

Hours are between 8:45am - 6pm. This is a site-based role in Wolverhampton; own transport is essential due to the location.
