Logistics Manager Nottingham £40-£43k + Growth Opportunities

Are you an experienced Transport & Warehouse professional looking for a fantastic opportunity with real career growth potential? We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our client's team based in Nottingham, overseeing a fleet of delivery vans and a warehouse team in a customer-focused environment.

The Role

As a Transport & Warehouse professional, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our clients transport and warehouse functions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

1. Budgetary and financial management experience
2. Supervising and supporting a team comprising of van delivery drivers, admin and warehouse staff.
3. Overseeing recruitment, training, and development of team members.
4. Monitoring KPIs to drive operational improvements.
5. Ensuring compliance with health & safety and transport regulations.
6. Managing fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and route planning.
7. Developing strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.
8. Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email to manage schedules, reports, and team communications.

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience in transport and warehouse operations (supervisory experience preferred).
2. ADR 7 - experience in ADR is a desirable asset
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
4. Ability to motivate and develop a team.
5. Hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. A keen eye for efficiency, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
