Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Logistics Manager, who are a leading transportation company based in Newport, they are seeking a skilled professional to oversee their logistics operation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport logistics, people management, logistics software and warehouse projects. You will play a key role in streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring seamless transportation operations.

As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage transport logistics software to optimise routes and fleet efficiency.
• Lead and manage a team of logistics coordinators, drivers, and warehouse staff.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Oversee stock management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in storage and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal departments.

Skills & experience required:

• Transport Logistics Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS, Freight Management Systems).
• Route planning and fleet optimisation, warehouse and inventory management.
• Knowledge of supply chain and distribution processes.
• Understanding of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Salary up to £60,000.
