Our client is a highly recognisable brand that has experienced huge growth in recent years. You will join the business as they make a significant shift in business strategy. The role is based in South West London, and you will be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week.

Job Description

Here are the primary responsibilities for the role of Logistics Manager:

  • Manage the outbound supply and logistics from distributors to ensure the best levels of service.
  • Identify and lead projects that will support growth and improve the efficiency and resilience of the supply chain.
  • Take overall responsibility for the supply of products into our Irish distributors, working with the Supply Chain Managers to ensure high levels of availability and reduce costs.
  • Deal with delivery issues and be the escalation point of contact.
  • Support the supply chain activity associated with new product launches to ensure all products arrive on time and in full.
  • Manage and report on service level KPIs and performance analysis.
  • Support the management of contracts with our distribution partners, including regular service reviews and contract meetings.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking to hear from candidates with a background in supply chain and logistics for a multi-site organisation with fast-moving products. You will have previous experience working with and managing the relationships of 3PLs and will have a collaborative approach with the ability to engage and build positive relationships. You will need knowledge of forecasting and demand planning, supported by great analytical skills across large data sets and strong Excel capability. Candidates with previous examples of supporting projects are encouraged to apply. Most importantly, you will have an entrepreneurial mindset, seeking out ways to make improvements and drive change in a positive and proactive way.
