Logistics Manager

Position Overview: Logistics Manager role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the Delivery Management system.
2. Ensure all deliveries arriving on-site are logged and scheduled.
3. Manage waste on site, including skips and bins, and oversee sub-contractor waste management.
4. Issue clean-up notices to sub-contractors maintaining cleanliness.
5. Utilize computer systems competently to upload pictures, notices, and issue reports.
6. Collaborate closely with the project team and provide information to the Main Contractor's QS team for contra charging.
7. Conduct management meetings with the main contractor's site team and all subcontractors.
8. Manage all labor required on site, including Gatemen, Traffic Marshalls, Fork Lift Drivers, General Labourers, and Handymen/Carpenters.
9. Order additional staff as needed.
10. Oversee logistic processes on site such as waste management, traffic management, welfare facilities management, lifting operations, labor management, and site inductions.
11. Manage logistics operations for the construction site, including delivery of materials and equipment.
12. Liaise and communicate with all subcontractors and the main contractor.
13. Oversee suppliers, subcontractors, and the site team to streamline logistics processes.
14. Maintain oversight of inventory, monitor deliveries, and manage on-site storage facilities.
15. Uphold health and safety standards pertaining to logistics activities.
16. Manage labor, toolbox talks, deliveries, waste, and general site duties.

Minimum Requirements:

1. SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
2. First Aid certification.
3. CSCS card.

Key Experiences:

1. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
2. Previous experience as a Logistics Manager.
