Role: Logistics Manager

Location: Kent - Chatham

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 + Benefits - No Weekend Working!

We are recruiting a Logistics Manager to run a team within a well-respected distributor of Flooring materials. The company offers a fantastic working environment.

The Logistics Manager will oversee and coordinate the efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation operations for the company. This role involves ensuring multiple bespoke deliveries across the country on complex construction projects in a timely manner, optimizing routes, maintaining vehicle performance, and managing relationships with external service providers to meet operational objectives.

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, and methodical individual with supervisory experience within Transport and Logistics. The role requires someone with high levels of attention to detail and who is used to working in fast-paced environments.

You should be familiar with efficient route planning and know how large vehicles should be loaded for weight distribution. Understanding of Fleet Management and Compliance will also be crucial, and the health and safety of yourself as well as your colleagues will be very important.
