Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced detail-oriented Logistics & Freight Coordinator to manage the flow of stock imports and exports for a fast-growing business. You'll oversee freight logistics, customs clearance, and timely deliveries, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

The ideal Logistics & Freight Coordinator will already be operating in a similar role and must have experience within Imports / Exports and be familiar with customs documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate air, road, and sea freight from ex-factory to delivery.
  2. Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, and agents to ensure correct documentation.
  3. Track shipments, monitor ETAs, and provide updates to teams.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to prioritise deliveries.
  5. Ensure accurate customs documentation and compliance with HMRC guidelines.
  6. Review and authorise shipping invoices.
  7. Support a paperless environment by organising and filing documents efficiently.
  8. Ensure supplier packing lists match shipping documentation.
  9. Handle additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Excel.
  2. Knowledge of import procedures and air/sea freight regulations.
  3. Experience in shipping, customs clearance, and record-keeping.
