Hours: 45 hours per week

Location: Freshfields, Bexhill Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, TN38 8AS

What will you be doing:

  • Supervise Haulage Team to maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proactive approach to daily Scheduling of Artic & RoRo movements to maximise fuel and mileage efficiency.
  • Real-time monitoring of driver workloads to ensure all work is completed daily using tracking software.
  • Creation of Tickets & Daily Driver Sheets.
  • Control of tablet-based ticketing system and all drivers tablets via remote access.
  • Daily reconciliation of loads, tonnage moved, fuel used, distance travelled.
  • Debriefing all drivers at the end of the shift to capture accurate information.
  • Effective Service Delivery for internal and external customers.
  • Proactive customer communications.
  • Ensure safety, fleet, and legal compliance is maintained at all times.
  • Contribute to delivering set KPI's.


What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management systems.
  • Proficiency in computing basics.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
