Job Description
Are you an experienced transport planner/coordinator? Or have an interest in the transport industry and willing to learn? BLUE ARROW might have the role for you!
Pay Rate: £12.31 an hour
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Nottingham
Main Duties include:
- Being the point of contact for the shift,
- Dealing with drivers,
- Supporting with ensuring vehicles are presented for planned maintenance.
- Printing of loading notes for the following day, creating the load list, required admin work.
- Debriefing them from the day and advising next day's work - Picking up on the controlling of loading bays once the Weighbridge controller finishes shift.
Success Candidates:
- Experience in transport planning within busy transport operations.
- Proficiency in transport management systems and databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a busy area.
- Being direct and understanding of the issues, organisation and firm attitude.
