Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Team: Logistics Location: Willesden Euroterminal Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 06:00-18:00, with occasional weekend work based on operational needs.
Role Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator within the SCS Logistics team, you will play a key role in managing construction logistics and fleet administration across the High Speed rail main works. Reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless operations for construction sites within the SCS geographic area.
Flexible Working Hours
This role typically involves 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, based in an SCS office. Flexible working arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Health and Safety: Promote and uphold Health and Safety standards in the workplace, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Management System.
Logistics Compliance: Ensure supplier, vehicle, and driver compliance with logistics processes and systems.
Site and Gate Management: Monitor and manage site and gate capacities based on planning forecasts using the logistics system.
KPI Reporting: Generate and deliver KPI reports aligned with SCS and High Speed requirements.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify, report, and implement solutions to prevent recurring non-conformance issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with site teams, suppliers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective operations.
