What will you be doing:

• Supervise Haulage Team to maintain a safe workplace for all employees and contractors, ensuring that a safe, efficient and compliant service is delivered throughout the day in line with Veolia policies and procedures.
  
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
  
• Proactive approach to daily Scheduling of Artic & RoRo movements to maximise fuel and mileage efficiency and minimise overtime working and vehicle downtime.
  
• Real-time monitoring of driver workloads to ensure all work is completed daily using tracking software.
  
• Creation of Tickets & Daily Driver Sheets.
  
• Control of tablet-based ticketing system and all drivers' tablets via remote access.
  
• Daily reconciliation of loads, tonnage moved, fuel used, distance travelled.
  
• Debriefing all drivers at the end of the shift to capture accurate information.
  
• Effective Service Delivery for internal and external customers.
  
• Proactive customer communications.
  
• Ensure safety, fleet, and legal compliance is maintained at all times.
  
• Contribute to delivering set KPIs.
  

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems.
  
• Proficiency in computing basics.
  
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
