Logistics Co-Ordinator (Racking & Storage)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading, international supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Logistics Co-Ordinator to oversee the co-ordination of timely and accurate shipments. With a good package, this is a great opportunity for an individual with experience of using logistics looking for a new opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Engage in regular communication with clients
2. Ensure timely schedules for client orders
3. Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
4. Maintain accurate and consistent records
5. Identify and fix shipping errors
6. Understand inventory databases
7. Support to Warehouse and Installations departments
8. Oversee production timelines

Requirements

It is essential that you have experience of working within a similar role for a number of years, preferably within an intralogistics solutions industry but other industries will also be considered. It is also highly desirable that you have a high-level of IT proficiency, with skills in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & PowerPoint as well as experience using an ERP system (preferably SAP). The role will require a dynamic individual as the environment will be demanding. Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to live within commutable of the company’s office in Birmingham.
