Description

The role involves the day-to-day traffic management and administration of our busy fleet and sub-contractors, processing bookings and liaising with customers and drivers throughout the day. You will be trained on how to use the two booking platforms that we use and how to process bookings and allocate drivers. You will soon develop a sound knowledge of UK general haulage.

You will need to have a confident and patient telephone manner and be able to solve work-related problems in a short time frame, often dealing with several requirements and issues at the same time.

Profile

Experience in the transport industry is ideal, but not essential. You will need to be comfortable using PCs and the internet and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
