Logistics clerk pm
Job description
Extrastaff Ltd, working in partnership with a well-known Logistics company located in Cowley, are currently recruiting for a PM Logistics Clerk.
This is a great opportunity for a PM Logistics Clerk to join an award-winning team and learn new skills.
Working Hours & Rates of Pay:
- 4-day week on a rotating shift pattern (No weekend work required)
- 16.30 hrs – 02.30 hrs, 10-hour days.
- £11.58 - £13.61 per hour.
Duties:
- Responsible for all administrative duties in relation to transport operation.
- Ensuring operations and paperwork remain compliant with relevant legislation and policies/procedures.
- Data Entry using SAP and TMS software.
- Keep the management of bays accurate and efficient.
- Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff.
- Receive/Despatch trailers.
Role Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a busy transport/distribution/logistics office (desirable).
- Knowledge/experience of SAP (desirable).
- Be computer literate and confident in the use of technology and IT systems.
- Reliable and excellent time management.
- Able to remain calm under pressure.
- Using TMS software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
